Data Deletion
This page explains how to request deletion of the data A2 GTM holds about you, including data we have received from connected platforms such as Meta (Facebook and Instagram), Google, LinkedIn, and X. For the underlying legal basis and retention rules, see our Privacy Policy.
Self-serve deletion (recommended)
If you signed in to A2 GTM, you can delete your account and all associated data from inside the product:
- Sign in at agentautogtm.com.
- Open Settings → Account.
- Click Delete account and confirm. We will revoke any connected OAuth tokens, delete your campaigns, lead lists, content, and stored credentials, and remove your account.
Quick action — remove all platform connections now
If you only want to disconnect Facebook, Instagram, Google, LinkedIn, and other platforms (without deleting your full A2 GTM account), use this button. You'll need to be signed in.
Email request
You can also request deletion by emailing [email protected] from the address associated with your account. Include:
- Your account email.
- The connected platform(s) for which you want data deleted (or "all").
- Whether you want only the connected-platform data deleted, or your full A2 GTM account.
We respond within 3 business days and complete deletion within 30 days, subject to legal retention obligations described in our Privacy Policy.
Removing the A2 GTM app from Facebook / Instagram
If you connected A2 GTM to your Facebook or Instagram account and want to revoke that connection separately from your A2 GTM account, you can do this from inside Facebook:
- Go to Facebook Settings → Business Integrations.
- Find A2 GTM in the list and click Remove.
- Facebook will notify A2 GTM via our deauthorize callback. We will mark the connection
revoked, stop using your access token, and delete cached profile / Page / ad-account references within 30 days.
Meta Data Deletion callback (for reviewers)
For Meta App Review reviewers and developers integrating with our app:

signed_requestbody and verify the HMAC-SHA256 signature against our App Secret before acting. - The Data Deletion endpoint returns
{ "url", "confirmation_code" }. Theurlpoints to a status endpoint (https://agentautogtm.com/marketing/api/meta/data-deletion/status?code=<code>) that surfaces the number of records revoked. The status URL is also linked from this page so an end user can reach it from the Facebook UI. - On either callback, every
facebook,instagram, andmeta_adsintegration record owned by the affected Meta user is set tostatus = 'revoked'. Cached tokens are no longer used. Derived data (synced Page metadata, lead caches, custom-audience snapshots) is purged within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- OAuth tokens and refresh tokens for the affected platforms.
- Connected Page IDs, Instagram business-account IDs, ad-account IDs, and Business Manager references.
- Lead records, custom-audience snapshots, and campaign metadata sourced from the affected platform.
- Generated content (posts, creatives, copy variants) tied to your account, unless you ask us to keep specific items for a brand asset library.
- Account profile, workspace membership, and audit-log entries that identify you, subject to the retention rules in our Privacy Policy.
What may be retained
- Records we are legally required to keep (e.g., tax, accounting, dispute resolution). These are retained only for the period required, then deleted.
- Aggregated, fully de-identified analytics that cannot be tied back to you.
- Backups containing your data are overwritten on the rolling backup schedule described in our Data Security page.
